K.D.'s treehouse opened its doors in October 2008 on Devine Street in Columbia.
Co-founded by Kris Burns and Dea Baughman, K.D.'s treehouse
aims to be the one-stop-shop for parents seeking products from clothes to diapers-bags to cloth diapers to toys that are made with organic and eco-friendly materials and fair labor practices.
The store carries 100% organic clothing lines for children 0-8 years such as Kate Quinn Organics, Happygreenbee, Under the Nile, Swaddlebees, speesees, Pixel Organics, and Lapsaky, as well as K.D.'s treehouse - my tree. my world. - the store's private label of eco-friendly clothing and accessories, and a full line of PlanToys (toys made from recycled rubber wood, natural cotton and other eco-friendly materials) and Putumayo Kids (CD featuring music from around the world).
